New Project Leader Assoc. Prof. Andreja Rudančić, Ph.D.

As of October 1, 2025, the leadership of the scientific project “Cultural Identities and Branding of Tourist Destinations in Istria and the Croatian Littoral” has been assumed by Assoc. Prof. Andreja Rudančić, Ph.D., a newly appointed researcher at the Institute for Migration Research. Professor Rudančić brings extensive expertise in tourism, with many years of academic and research experience at national and international universities, a rich record of scientific publications, and active participation in research projects and professional bodies in the fields of tourism and development. The previous project leader, Assoc. Prof. Krešimir Dabo, Ph.D., who successfully guided the project from 2024 to 2025, is continuing his academic career as Associate Professor at the Department of Applied Communication Sciences, University of Zadar. Despite his new professional role, Dr. Dabo remains part of the research team as an external associate, ensuring continuity and further advancement of the project. This transition brings new energy and additional expertise to the study of cultural identities and the branding of tourist destinations in Istria and the Croatian Littoral, while the project continues to serve as a valuable platform for connecting researchers, institutions, and the local community.
